InStep for Windows

InStep is a companion product to Pirouette. It runs on any Windows platform and uses models produced in Pirouette. InStep allows file-based and/or Dynamic Data Exchange retrieval of instrument data for routine or on-line multivariate predictions. Complex expert systems approaches to prediction can be developed with the InStep macro language allowing the user to, for example, cascade through classification models to initially sort a sample and then predict a physical property. Plots and control charts are easily customized to show limits and mark bounds for a process monitoring application. Results can be displayed, saved to a file or exported via DDE to other process software. The InStep approach to product grading automates prediction, bringing the experience of the analytical chemist onto the process line.
